Actually, it is well known that Tipper was a drummer in a rock band (that did GD covers) when she was in High School. Although the whole thing is still weird...

I wrote a song about dental floss but did anyone's teeth get cleaner?
-- Frank Zappa, Senate Hearing on "Porn Rock", 1985, in response to Tipper Gore's allegations that music incites people towards deviant behavior, or influences their behavior in general

Yeah, I tell them to change the channel if they see some guy in a brown suit with a telephone number at the bottom of the screen asking for money.
-- Frank Zappa, Senate Hearing on "Porn Rock", 1985, after being asked by Tipper Gore if there was anything on TV he didn't allow his kids to watch

May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

Tipper Gore's children learned to say the word FUCK, when her pal Bob Weir inserted it into the live versions of his many Grateful Dead songs. Then she founded the Parents Music Resource Center, so a bunch of southern white racists could point their fingers at black artists like 2 LIVE CREW. Let's gag all of the potty mouthed musicians except for her heroes!

What a HYPOCRITE. That's reason enough to boo her ass off of the stage. Fat Albert runs around in gas guzzling SUVs. He flies in private jets, instead of taking a crowded flight on the mass transit services provided by the commercial airlines. Most of that global warming is caused by the hot air which spews from a politician's big mouth.

The Gores are so goddamned phony...

Not that I'm defending the Gore's but, Weir never recorded any obsenities. His cussin' was/is done at live shows. Tipper was against recorded obsenities. Whatever. C'mon, if you're comparing gansta rappers to Weir, you haven't come down from your Salvia buzz yet. And if you were Fat Albert, you wouldn't fly commercial either. Sounds like a jealous rant. Also, David Gans isn't worthy of carrying Warren's guitar strap. WH has his own style. Gans is a Garcia wannabe.

it really is a shame that they couldn't get Hornsby for this tour. It's one thing to say Jerry's not there its not the same. Obviously theres nothing you can do about that. But Hornsby and Kimock are alive and well...

They should have scheduled a show in Hornsby's home town Williamsburg,VA (also my home town) at William and Mary Hall. Then I could walk to the show....hehe

I would certainly rather see one of the family's guitarists from the SF Bay Area instead of a second generation Allman Bro. Kimock, Henry Kaiser or David Nelson would satisfy me. David Gans might not be too bad of a choice in an acoustic set like the one they played in NYC...
